What is the Charitable Foundation’s mission?
The Charitable Foundation’s mission is to work closely with individuals, local businesses, schools and civic organizations in St. Anthony’s service area to identify community needs, particularly in the area of health and wellness. The Charitable Foundation will work with community partners to make grants and support programs that help to address health related issues.
Why should I make a contribution to the Charitable Foundation?
St. Anthony’s has a long heritage of addressing the community’s health and wellness needs, dating back more than a century in the St. Louis area and more than 30 years in South County. The hospital has become a true community resource and an effective steward of the resources put at its disposal. A gift to the Charitable Foundation can help keep St. Anthony’s at the forefront of advanced medicine. The Charitable Foundation’s work ultimately will improve the quality of life for all who live and work in the hospital’s service area.
Is it possible to contribute to the Charitable Foundation’s work without giving money?
Yes. Volunteerism represents an integral part of the Charitable Foundation’s mission. In addition, the Charitable Foundation expects to partner with local businesses, schools and civic organizations to develop programs that address identified community needs.
How is the Charitable Foundation managed?
St. Anthony’s Charitable Foundation is a separate entity from St. Anthony’s Medical Center and is governed by an independent board of directors. Jeff Randall serves as the Charitable Foundation’s full-time executive director.
