Ways to Give

Outright Gifts

Outright gifts of cash, securities or other property can be used immediately to support the current needs of St. Anthony’s Medical Center. Outright gifts can be made online, through mail and in person. The Charitable Foundation accepts cash, check and credit cards. You can also make a gift online.

Planned Gifts

Planned gifts provide you with the opportunity to leave a legacy. Planned giving includes will bequests, trust bequests, gifts of life insurance and retirement plans. To learn more about how you can include the Charitable Foundation in your estate plans contact the Foundation Office.

Stock Gifts

Gifts of long-term appreciated securities are a great way to make a meaningful gift and receive tax incentives. To learn more about how you can make a gift of stock please call the Foundation Office at 314-525-7330.

Matching Gifts

The Charitable Foundation accepts matching gifts from corporations that will match employee giving. Please contact your Human Resources Department for more information.

Employee Gifts

Employees of St. Anthony’s Medical Center have the opportunity to pledge a monetary donation through a payroll deduction. Download this form , then send the completed form to the Charitable Foundation’s office.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts

These special gifts offer the donor an opportunity to remember or celebrate a friend or loved one by making a special gift in his or her name. St. Anthony’s Hospice and de Greeff Hospice house offer several ways to support their program with memorials, tributes or gifts, including:

Circle of Life Brick

You can purchase a Circle of Life brick to celebrate the life of someone special to you while you make a difference in the lives of terminally ill patients. Two sizes are available and the cost is $150 or $250.Your brick will be engraved with your personalized message. Bricks are displayed as a beautiful pathway around the peaceful fountain area in the de Greeff Hospice House gardens.

The Giving Library

The Giving Library is unlike any library you have ever visited. It is a place of timeless treasures where books line the shelves in the de Greeff Hospice House. But these books have several things in common:
— Each is a testament to a donor’s generosity and compassion
— Each is inscribed with a personalized message
— Each represents our efforts to provide quality, compassionate care and comfort to terminally patients and our loved ones.
With a gift or $1000 or more, a book with your specially inscribed message will be added to the library. Many of our donors use this opportunity to pay tribute to a loved one ensuring an enduring memorial.

Act of Kindness

You can participate in this with a gift and leave a brief personal message that will be place in a special book in the de Greeff House. The book is blessed and on display.

Light Up a Life

This is a holiday appeal and your gift of any amount allows a paper dove with your message to be hung on a Christmas tree in the de Greeff House or the main hospital library. Recognition items are available with specific donation levels.

The Guardian Newsletter

This publication comes out twice each year. Return envelopes are included for you to mail in a memorial or tribute gift. The publication also includes our list of donors for the preceding time period.

Giving Envelopes

Throughout the year, donation envelopes are available for any donor to send a contribution.
