2nd Annual Golf Tournament

Sunshine and perfectly manicured greens greeted over 140 golfers at the June 21st St. Anthony’s Charitable Foundation’s 2nd Annual Golf Tournament at Sunset Country Club.

The tournament, chaired by Charitable Foundation Board of Directors member, William Wachter, in conjunction with a decadent evening dinner and auction co-chaired by former State Senator Anita Yeckel and St. Anthony’s Auxiliary President, Carole Mateker, sold out and raised over $60,000 for St. Anthony’s Hospice programs.

Much of this success was due to the partnership of the tournament’s 2010 Platinum Presenting Sponsor, Lindenwood University. Lindenwood provides on-going educational opportunities to the South County region from St. Anthony’s campus and understands the need for the one-of-a-kind hospice services St. Anthony’s provides. Together, St. Anthony’s Medical Center and Lindenwood University help to build a healthy and prosperous community by bringing state of the art medical services and ample educational opportunities to the area.

Other corporate contributors include Regions Bank, Regions Bank, Concord Bank, Dave Sinclair Automotive Group, Northstar Management Company, W. L. Gore and Associates, Alberici Construction, AmerenUE, Lewis Rice and Fingersh, Consort Homes, J. H. Berra Construction Co., McKelvey Homes, Kienstra Concrete, and Wachter Properties.

Winners of the Tournament were:

1st Place A-Flight: CACI Team (Greg Modesitt, Ryan Modesitt, Matt Holmes, Brent Holmes)
1st Place B-Flight: St. Anthony’s Physician Organization Team (Pat Garrett, Dave Hinkle, Tim Dalaviras, Brandon Koehler)
1st Place C-Flight: Dr. Ed Burns Team (Robert Smith, Dilip Patel, Ed Burns, Salim Hawatmeh)
