The Physician Ambassadors of St. Anthony's Charitable Foundation are proud to announce the 2011 Spirit of St. Anthony's Honorees.
These distinguished friends of St. Anthony's Medical Center were presented their awards and framed certificates on Saturday, November 19th, 2011 as part of the Physician Ambassador fundraiser dinner at beautiful Sunset Country Club.

PEGGY McDONNELL, RN
Hyland Behavioral Health's Utilization Management Department

For her philanthropic work with Angel's Arms, as a foster parent (fostering over 65 children, often with special needs specifically served by her skills as a behavioral health nurse), and as a youth mentor at her church.

For his 44 years of service on St. Anthony's Board of Directors and for establishing The Norbert Siegried Scholarship for Sons and Daughters of St. Anthony's Employees in 2006.

The Spirit of St. Louis Award was established in 2010 to recognize outstanding Medical Professionals, Volunteers and Organizations that:
- Perform philanthropic and/or humanitarian work in the community, the nation or the world in partnership with St. Anthony's Medical Center;
- Affirm the mission of St. Anthony's by placing the patient first in everything they do;
- Sustain Christ's healing ministry by aiding the sick, the poor, and the underserved; and
- Serve the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of mankind in a manner that upholds the dignity of human life and the faith-based beliefs of the Catholic Church.
